He began studying drums at the age of 5, and during primary school he was already performing on stage with various rock bands within the Brothers of Rock club in Bacău, among which the most well-known is Candlelight.
During high school, he played drums in the very promising band Rapax, with which he performed in festivals and clubs, and also released an EP and several music videos. At the same time, he began working as a live sound engineer and lighting technician for various bands and for the I.D. Fest theatre festival in Bacău.
In recent years, he has studied guitar and bass guitar and has become seriously interested in recording industry technology, becoming an assistant at El Studió since its pilot phase in Bacău.
He is currently a student at the National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest, majoring in Multimedia: Sound, Editing.
Andrei is a very talented musician, who is also active as a studio musician. He has solid knowledge of music and video production and post-production equipment, as well as of the musical instruments used in recording, and he is also a very competent drum tech, with whom all the drummers recording at El Studió instantly become friends, because he makes the drums sound really good :)
He is a great music enthusiast and a good listener, with a strong musical culture in various stylistic areas, and his artistic and technical contributions to the studio’s productions are very valuable.
